mixed lighting with elena
the reason why i like this photo is because i like how elena is smiling in this picture. I like how red and white lights hit her face and make it look more contrasty. To make this photo happen elena and i went into the dark room and got up right beside the red light and then shined the white light to the side of her face. shutter speed- 1/50 and the aperature is 36

The Renaissance
The Renaissance also known as the Histroical Era. It was a cultural movement that spanned through the 14th to the 17th century. It began in Italy in the Late Middle Ages and later on spreaded through out Euorpe. Since it was a cultural movement, the era embranced literature, science, art, religion, and politics. The Renaissacne also had a open minded to different types of learning but from classical sources, such as the development of a linear perspective in painting.
The Artisit
Leonardo Di Vinci born in April 15 1452 and he died in May 2, 1519. Di Vinci was an Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanistand and a writer. Di Vinci is said to be a genius. Di Vinci is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and maybe the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.
The Painting
The Mona lisa is a half-length portrait of a seated woman,Lisa Del Giocondo. Del Giocondo’s facial expression is said to be either lifeless with no smile or it is also said that she has a small smile. Leonardo Da Vinci began painting the Mona Lisa in 1503 or 1504 in Florence, Italy. The Mona Lisa was lingered on for about four years and Da Vinci left it unfinished. Then Da Vinci then moved to France and continued to work on the Mona Lisa. It took him three years to complete it and he finished right before he died in 1519.
